Pound Cake


1 lb butter
2 2/3 cups sugar
7 large eggs (room temperature)
1/2 cup of half and half (room temperature)
3 1/2 cups of flour
2 tbs vanilla extract
2 tbs almond extract

1. separate the eggs
2. cream the butter
3. add sugar
4. add yolk to the mixture ( yellow part)
5. add flour and half and half alternately
6. whip egg white until stiff (add 6 tbs of sugar)
7. pour egg whites into mixture
8. add extract to mixture
9. butter and flour pan
10. bake for 1.5 hours at 325 degrees

Meat Loaf


1 package of ground turkey
2 to 3 eggs
green pepper
onion
mayo (tablespoon)
salt
pepper
ketchup and barbecue sauce
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
honey

mix all the ingredients except the honey and bbq sauce.
cook for 1 hour on 400 degrees

spread sauce on top and cook for 15 more minutes
3/4 bbq sauce
1/4 ketchup
honey to taste

Salmon Croquette

3 cans of salmon
2 eggs per can
green pepper
red pepper
onion
cornmeal
salt
pepper
Worcesters sauce ( 3 squirts)

1. mix everything except cornmeal in a bowl
2. roll the salmon in to little balls
3. roll the ball in the corn meal
4. flatten salmon in hand
5. pan fry until brown on both sides

Southern Potatoes

diced potatoes
green pepper
red pepper
onion
garlic
salt
pepper

1. heat grease in pan
2. put in vegetables
3. put in potatoes
4. cover the surface with salt and pepper
5. stir occasionally
6. cover with top to make potatoes soft

Dip

1 jar of hot salsa
1 small package of velveeta cheese
1 can of goya beans
1 package of bob evans sausage
1 bag of corn chips

1. cook the meat
2. melt the cheese in the microwave half way through
3. mix cheese, beans, meat and salsa

Tuna noodle casserole

tuna
cream of chicken soup
mixed vegetables
egg noodles
worcesters sauce
cheddar cheese
bread crumbs

1. boil the noodles
2. mix all the ingredients
3. put in baking tray
4. cover with bread crumbs
5. bake on 350

Pad See Ew

garlic
chicken
shrimp
light soy sauce
dark soy sauce
fresh rice noodles
broccoli
olive oil

1 cook the meat in garlic
2 add broccoli
3 oil the pan
4 fry the rice noodles
5 add the dark and light soy sauce
6 add the meat and broccoli
7 stir until done

Shrimp and Grits

shrimp
bacon
scallions
green pepper
onion
garlic
chicken stock
flour
grits
cheese

1. cook bacon
2. add onions, green peppers, and garlic
3. add flour and chicken stock
4. add salt and pepper
5. add shrimp
6. cook until thick and creamy

1. cook grits with scallions in the water
2. add cheese

Taffy Apple Salad

1 lb or pineapple chunks
1/2 cup of sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon of apple vinegar
tablespoon of flour
1 egg
16 oz of cool whip
2.5 cups of little marsh mallows
8 oz of planters cocktail peanuts

1. Drain the pineapples and keep the juice in the pot
2. Put 1/2 cups of sugar in the juice
3. Pour a tablespoon and a half of apple vinegar
4. Add a tablespoon of flour
5. Beat 1 egg and pour it in the pot
6. Boil on the stove until thick and foamy and comes to a boil
7. Dump the cool whip in the bowl by itself
8. Dump the mixture in the bowl with the cool whip
9. Stir immediately until smooth
10. Pour pineapples int the mixture
11. Pour 2.5 cups of marshmallows
12. Cut up 3 large apples or 4 small apples into little cubes
13. Add 8oz of cocktail peanuts

Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.

Deviled Eggs

Eggs
Sandwich spread
Horse radish
Mustard
White salt
Pepper

1. Boil the eggs for 8 minutes and let sit in hot water.
2. Mix the yellow part of the eggs with the rest of the ingredients to taste.
3. Add cappers for effect (optional)

Candies Yams


1 lb sweet potatoes
3/4 cups of regular sugar
Lemon extract
Vanilla extract
Nut meg
1/2 to 3/4 stick of butter

1. Boil the sweet potatoes until they are semi soft
2. Pour out enough water until potatoes are exposed
3. Add sugar
4. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla
5. Add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon
6. Cover the surface with nutmeg
7. Add 1/2 stick of butter
8. Let it boil on top of the stove and cook down

Macaroni and Cheese


2 cups of macaroni
4 cups of water
1 stick of butter
2 cups of milk
1 tablespoon of flour
2 bags of sharp cheddar cheese
paprika
croutons
white salt
pepper

velveeta cheese (optional)

1. Boil the water with salt
2. Rinse the pasta with cold water
3. Cut 2 tbs of the sticks off the butter to place over the top so it can brown
4. Melt the butter in the pan
5. Add the flour
6. Stir until it gets thick
6.5. Add the milk.
7. Cover the surface with salt and pepper
8. After you can no longer see the butter and it thickens, add the cheese until it is thick
9. Add a 2 inch layer of noodles to the pan
10. Pour the cheese sauce over the noodles and mix
11. Cover the surface with shredded cheese
12. Sprinkle croutons on top.
13. Cut the leftover butter into cubes and spread across the top.

Bake for 20 minutes or until it is brown.
